In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are locked in a three-way battle for Juventus winger Matias Soule who is currently playing on loan at Frosinone. It has been revealed that Spurs will face competition in the form of Newcastle United and Crystal Palace in the race to sign the talented wide player.
Soule has managed to impress while on loan at Frosinone as he has put in a series of eye-catching displays on the right side of their attack. The 20-year-old has registered six goals and picked up one assist in 16 appearances for the Italian outfit this season across all competitions.
The Argentine wing wizard has been a reliable performer in the final third based on his average of 2.4 shots, 2.8 key passes and 4.4 dribbles per game in Serie A football. He has even been tidy when interchanging possession in the opponent’s half as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 81.5% in the top tier of Italian football (stats via whoscored).
Soule is under contract at his parent club Juventus until 2026. Hence, it won’t be easy for Spurs to land him on the cheap next year.

Soule can create some space for himself to get some shots in on-target. He can strike the ball with power and accuracy from long range and has got the vision to create a few meaningful openings for his teammates up top.
The Argentine sensation is a technically gifted footballer who is a good dribbler with the ball as well. He mainly functions as a right-sided wide player but can also fill in as an attacking midfielder or play as a striker down the middle if needed.
Soule will add more goals and creativity to Tottenham head coach Angelos Postecoglu’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge Dejan Kulusevski for a regular starting spot at the North London club.
Hence, it makes sense for Spurs to try and bring Soule on board in the upcoming January transfer window. At 20, he has the potential to be a generational talent which makes him a great fit for Tottenham in the long run.
