The Lilywhites announced the news this morning via a squad update on their official club website.
Naz spent the early days of her career with Arsenal before joining Spurs ahead of the 2018/2019 season. It was a campaign to remember for the forward who scored four goals in 17 Barclays Women’s Championship appearances for Spurs, helping the club to the league title and promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The 22-year-old has continued to play an important role for the North Londoners during their three seasons in the top flight. Naz brings lots of pace and power to the Spurs side while she boasts some top finishing qualities. The player has made 35 top flight appearances for Spurs in which she has scored four goals.
Today’s announcement of Naz’s long-term contract is further good news for the club. Spurs are very much laying down the foundations for long-term success in the Barclays Women’s Super League. Head coach Rehanne Skinner has had to juggle her squad due to a series of long-term injuries this season but the club are committed to building a very strong group of players.
Spurs are back in action on Sunday when Chelsea are the visitors to The Breyer Group Stadium.
