A round-up of all the latest Tottenham news, including updates on Arda Guler, Troy Parrott and Sir Alex Ferguson’s title claim.
Tottenham have been linked with a surprise switch for Real Madrid wonderkid Arda Guler ahead of the summer transfer window. The 18-year-old joined Los Blancos last summer from Fenerbahce, but injury issues have hampered his progress into the first-team.
Since his return, there have been just four appearances for the midfielder, which has led to links with a move away. According to Spanish outlet Sport, Tottenham are one of the team showing interest in Guler.
Alongside Spurs are the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan, though there is a preference for a loan deal and guaranteed minutes.

Dutch giants Ajax are one of a number of clubs showing interest in a move for Tottenham striker Troy Parrott, according to recent reports. The academy graduate is currently on loan in the Eredivisie with Excelsior Rotterdam, where he has scored seven goals with three assists so far this season.
That has caught the attention of a number of clubs, with the 42 reporting that Ajax and PSV Eindhoven are showing interest in the 22-year-old. Parrott has just over one-year remaining on his contract and it remains to be seen whether he will have a future with Spurs.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has discussed Tottenham’s Premier League title chances, amid a potential chance at silverware this season. Spurs are fourth in the division and have been discussed when it comes to the title race.
However, when Ferguson spoke to Sky Sports reporter Matt Chapman, he laughed off claims of a challenge for the Lilywhites. Chapman asked: “Will Spurs ever win the Premier League?” to which Ferguson responded: “No,” while laughing.
Chapman hit back saying: “What’s funny about that? You’ve just broken my heart.” before Ferguson added: “[19]61 was the last time they won it [the first division]. Well, that’s a long time. But the proposition today with Liverpool and Man City being so powerful in the Premier League, even for United…”
Chapman replied: “I think Spurs are more likely to win it than United these days.” With Ferguson bluntly saying: “No chance.”
