Tottenham winger Lucas Moura is full of praise for his teammate Carlos Vinicius.

The young striker got his first Premier League goal for Spurs during a 2-0 away win at Aston Villa on Monday.

Vinicius scored an easy tap in after some excellent work by Moura on the wing, and Spurs went on to add to their tally through a Harry Kane penalty.

The result gives Spurs more hope for finishing in a top four spot in the league, and eases the blow of a poor week that saw them lose to Arsenal and go out of the Europa League to Dinamo Zagreb.

"It was a mix of a lot of feelings, anger, the happiness of his first goal, anger because of the last game," said Moura told the club's website.

"I felt very, very bad (after Dinamo). It was a very difficult week. We needed to show an answer, we needed to show character and attitude and when Vini scored, I was so happy for him, and I also know how much we needed the three points.

"I'm very happy for Vini and the team today. We know how Vini works every day, how he wanted to score this goal in the Premier League, and what it means for him. After the goal, it was an unbelievable feeling."
