Tottenham and Arsenal go head-to-head on Sunday afternoon in the second and final north London derby of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

Arsenal boast an 11-point lead over their local rivals and currently sit top of the table, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

Victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would further cement the Gunners’ status as genuine title contenders.

Arsenal are unbeaten in the Premier League since losing to Manchester United in September – a run spanning 11 games – and now have a real opportunity to end their 19-year wait for a league title.

Fifth-placed Tottenham will need no further motivation to win this weekend’s derby.

Not only would a win boost their own chances of securing a top-four finish, it would also threaten to derail Arsenal’s title challenge.

This fixture certainly has the potential to be one of the spiciest matches of the Premier League season.

Ahead of the game, Sky Sports offered Lee McQueen – former winner of The Apprentice and Tottenham fan – to name his combined XI.

And it’s fair to say that his XI has caused quite the stir on Twitter.

Despite the fact Arsenal are top of the league, McQueen could only find room for four of Mikel Arteta’s players in his Combined NLD XI.

William Saliba, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are the only Arsenal players selected for the XI.

On the other hand, Hugo Lloris, Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ivan Perisic, Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min all make the cut from Spurs.

Let’s check out some of the reaction to the Combined XI:

When did Arsenal last beat Tottenham away?

There’s no doubt that Arsenal head into Sunday’s derby as firm favourites, but it’s worth noting that the Gunners haven’t won away at Tottenham since September 2015.

In fact, you need to go back to March 2014 for the last time Arsenal beat Spurs away in the league.

However, Arteta’s side have looked like they mean business in recent months and currently have the bit between their teeth.

Beat Tottenham and their fans will truly start to believe this really is their season.
