Torino send official bid to Chelsea for Cesare Casadei | OneFootball

Serie A side Torino make the first move for Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Torino have presented an initial offer to Chelsea to secure the services of Casadei this winter transfer window. The 21-year-old has made just six appearances this season, five in the Conference League and one in the Carabao Cup with The Blues and he plans to leave the club due to the lack of game time.

The Granata are always attentive to market opportunities and they have decided to sweep in early to land Casadei. The proposal sent is similar to the ‘Nico Paz to Como’ style arrangement where Torino will be taking Casadei on a permanent transfer with a transfer fee involved but Chelsea will have the option of a buy-back in the future. Details of Torino’s bid have remained undisclosed.

The Turin-based side might face competition from league counterparts Lazio but the capital side are yet to send any official offer.
