The FA Cup third round concluded with Manchester United’s win over Wigan Athletic on Monday evening.

Rotherham proved to be tough customers at Craven Cottage on Friday night, but Fulham’s passage to the fourth round was ultimately sealed by a strike which almost ripped the net from its rigging.
The Seagulls emerged victorious from a six-goal thriller in Stoke, and this top-bins banger from Estupiñán was a goal worthy of winning any game.
It was a 4-0 rout for the Owls at Hillsborough on Saturday, with captain Palmer’s expertly executed half-volley being the pick of the strikes.
The Sky Blues scored six in an eight-goal thriller on Saturday, but none of them were better than this unstoppable 30-yard dipper from Palmer.
There aren’t many things more beautiful in football than a goal scored with the outside of the boot, and Ward’s finish to earn Bristol Rovers a replay with Norwich is a classic of the genre.
The Pilgrims can look forward to a trip to face Leeds at Elland Road in the fourth round, and it was this beauty from Whittaker which sealed their win over Sutton on Saturday.
Forest could only manage a draw with Championship outfit Blackpool, and it was a stunning equaliser from Gibbs-White which sets up a replay at Bloomfield Road next week.
Spurs had to be patient when it came to breaking down Burnley on Friday night, but the breakthrough finally did come in the 78th minute courtesy of a stunning strike from Porro.
On-loan Wolves midfielder Doyle earned his side a replay with an outrageous left-footed strike on Friday night. Somebody has been watching Kevin De Bruyne in Manchester City training.
It had to be this one didn’t it? A Marco van Basten-esque control on the chest and volley into the top corner from the Leeds striker will surely be a Puskás Award contender come the end of the year.
It somehow looks even better from this angle too.
