Toni Kroos is reportedly eyeing a surprise summer exit away from Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old has struggled this season under various managers and is reportedly seeking a ‘new sporting challenge’.
According to AS, Madrid officials do not want to lose Kroos, but could sell him to fund a move for Christian Eriksen or Paul Pogba.
The report has highlighted his increasingly wayward passing, particularly in the Champions League defeat to Ajax where he misplaced 24 passes.
Manchester United have long-standing interest in Kroos, and are said to be monitoring his situation after nearly signing him in 2013.
Real Madrid are also looking to offload Gareth Bale, Isco and Mariano Díaz, with Raphäel Varane also considering his future.
