Brazil have been given a huge boost ahead of their World Cup last-16 tie with South Korea after head coach Tite revealed Neymar is available to return and will feature in the game.

The PSG forward missed the Selecao’s last two group games after picking up an ankle injury during the opening matchday win over Serbia.

There were fears over the extent of the injury and whether the 30-year-old would make it back in time for the knockout rounds.

However, Tite suggested in a press conference on Sunday that the star will be available to face South Korea on Monday.

The 61-year-old simply replied ‘yes’ when asked a question over whether Neymar would return to the squad for the last-16 clash, before later adding “Neymar will train this afternoon.

“If he trains and if he is good, he goes to the game.”

Neymar has scored 75 goals in 122 caps for his country.
