Chelsea could be looking to recruit new talents from Paris Saint-Germain who have placed 11 of their players in the shop window.
The Parisians are looking to offload high-earning and under-performing players this summer at the Parc des Princes.
According to a report from the Le Parisien, Abdou Diallo, Thilo Kehrer, Layvin Kurzawa, Leandro Paredes, Danilo Pereira, Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera, Georginio Wijnaldum, Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe, Julian Draxler and Mauro Icardi are the names of the players who have been put on the transfer list.
Chelsea have already brought in Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling but there are several areas where they need improvements this summer.
1- Abdou Diallo
Chelsea desperately need reinforcements in defence with Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger both leaving the London club earlier this summer. Cesar Azpilicueta has also been linked with a move to Barcelona who are keen to sign him.
The Blues recently failed in their efforts to secure a deal for Jules Kounde who opted to join the Catalans instead. PSG’s Abdou Diallo could be an appealing option for Thomas Tuchel.
The 26-year-old has been on the books of the French side since 2019 and has made 75 first-team appearances across all competitions so far.
He has all the qualities to succeed in the Premier League. The Senegal international averaged 2.1 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 1.1 clearances per game in the Ligue 1 last season (as per WhoScored).
2- Thilo Kehrer
Chelsea have been linked with several defenders since they lost Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, including Kounde, Nathan Ake, Presnel Kimpembe and Kalidou Koulibaly. However, they have only managed to sign Koulibaly, leaving them short in defensive options.
The Blues could target Thilo Kehrer who may be able to join them on a lower transfer fee since PSG are very keen to sell him.
The 25-year-old mainly plays as a centre-back but he can be deployed as a right-back too. He has been on the books of the Ligue 1 side since 2018 and has made over 120 appearances across all competitions so far at the Parc des Princes.
3- Layvin Kurzawa
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso. If the 31-year-old seals his return to Spain, then the Blues could look to Layvin Kurzawa as a back-up for Ben Chilwell.
Kurzawa has spent most of his career at Monaco and PSG and has over 180 Ligue 1 games under his belt. He has also played in 29 Champions League matches.
However, the left-back has been enduring a difficult time in recent years as he has been completely frozen out at his club.
