PSG could be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, with Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future at the club still uncertain.
While he’s under contract through 2026, there’s growing speculation that PSG may not extend his deal—a scenario already fueling talk of potential replacements, including a veteran option from Barcelona.
It’s a pivotal decision for the club, and others are paying close attention. Inter Milan and Manchester United are monitoring the situation, wondering if Donnarumma is still seen as PSG’s long-term solution in goal.
BILD has linked PSG to ter Stegen if he ends up leaving Barcelona. Other clubs reportedly interested in Donnarumma include AC Milan, Manchester City, Juventus, and Newcastle United.
Moreover, CaughtOffside reported that Chelsea are still exploring options in the goalkeeper market, with Barcelona’s German keeper Marc-André ter Stegen among the names they’re keeping an eye on.
The report also notes, citing sources, that Manchester United have looked into the 33-year-old as they search for a potential replacement for Andre Onana.

According to Fichajes, Pep Guardiola has started looking for a goalkeeper to replace Ederson and one who matches his style of play: strong with the ball at his feet, reliable in goal, and confident enough to lead from the back. In that search, he’s reportedly set his sights on Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen.
Barcelona haven’t closed the door on his departure, and some within the club would even welcome it if the right offer came from England. With pressure to trim the wage bill, moving on from Ter Stegen would offer some much-needed financial relief.
A move to Manchester City looks like a natural fit. Pep Guardiola is familiar with the former Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper and sees him as someone with the tools to thrive in the Premier League.
