Three new striker targets named as Chelsea look for more attainable options

Chelsea are reportedly turning their attentions to other striker options as two of their priority targets are deemed unattainable this month.

As we know, The Blues are keen on either Victor Osimhen from Napoli, and Ivan Toney from Brentford.

But both players will not be cheap, and Osimhen of course has even just signed a new contract extension with his current club.

A report from Sky Sports today claims Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear he would like to do more work in the transfer market and striker is a priority for him.

But Toney and Osimhen are valued at £100m-plus and tremendously difficult to get out of their clubs in January.

Therefore, they claim that Chelsea are looking at other more attainable options and are understood to have watched players like Serhou Guirassy, Santiago Gimenez and Benjamin Sesko among others.

Personally, I see this report as all rather speculative without much weight to it.
