The upcoming season will bring with it a lot of new challenges for FC Barcelona to tackle. However, the Catalan giants are making good progress in terms of sorting certain issues out beforehand. One of the things Barcelona has already managed to sort out is the continuity of their head coach.

Previously, there was little to no assurance that Xavi Hernandez would continue beyond this season. The Barcelona head coach had already stated his desire to leave previously, but eventually, the higher-ups of the club managed to convince him to stay. However, it seems that Xavi also needs the right backing from Barcelona this time around to succeed.

That is why the Catalan giants are working quite relentlessly in the hopes of getting back to the 1:1 rule. The rule in question would finally allow Barcelona to be able to invest with less restrictions again, and it seems that Barça already has a plan about what they want to do with that rule should they be eligible for it.

As per SPORT, three offensive options have been strongly linked with Barcelona. All three of these players are seen as great desires of the Catalans, and even the individuals themselves would reportedly be thrilled to join La Blaugrana.

The three names in question are those of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Dani Olmo, and Bernardo Silva. In terms of where exactly they rank as priorities for the Catalan club, most reports would place the Portuguese star from Manchester City, Bernardo Silva, on the very top of that list.

However, the reasons behind this go beyond just the obvious sporting choices. Even in terms of financial sacrifice, Silva would be the least expensive signing from among the three.

As per the same report, both the Napoli winger and the RB Leipzig star would cost beyond €100 million and €60 million respectively.

Silva, on the other hand, has a release clause close to or slightly below €60 million. That figure is seen as attainable for Barcelona if they were to pool their resources in the right way.

Moreover, the Manchester City star remains a great dream of Xavi Hernandez’s, and the Barça coach believes his introduction would truly elevate his team.

While all three are seen as sensational players, and even though Silva may or may not be the first priority from among them, the truth of the matter is that no move can be made as of right now.
