Thiago Silva has become the latest Paris Saint-Germain player to have his property robbed during a match, local police have confirmed.

The Brazil international started as PSG beat Nantes 1-0 on Saturday evening with Kylian Mbappé scoring the only goal of the game.

But whilst the 34-year-old was playing at the Parc des Princes, robbers broke into his home in the 16th arrondisment and came away with a reported €900,000 worth of stolen goods.

Silva is just the latest in a long line of PSG players to have suffered break-ins at their properties.

Only last month Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had €650,000 worth of jewellery and other items taken from his apartment.

Unai Emery was also the victim of a robbery during his time in the French capital.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are now on their Christmas break but will return on January 6 to take on Stade Pontivy in the Coupe de France.
