Theo Hernandez is focused on the season finale with Milan, but the club have already started to set the stage as Bayern Munich weigh up a move in the summer.

The 26-year-old Frenchman has continued to shine with the Rossoneri this season and added new layers to his game by proving his capabilities as a central defender, filling in when needed during the team’s injury crisis this term.

Theo Hernandez has a little over two years left on his contract with Milan, prompting the club to start planning out a new contract. In the meantime, Bayern have identified the Frenchman as a key target as Real Madrid look to snap up Alphonso Davies in the summer.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Theo Hernandez is not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, despite interest, but would be more open to a move to Bayern, despite being perfectly happy with Milan.

The Rossoneri don’t want to lose the 26-year-old and will look to set up a new contract soon, valuing him at around €90m ahead of the summer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to play a role in the negotiations.
