Here are the verdicts on Teun Koopmeiners, Giorgio Scalvini and Gleison Bremer, three players Manchester United scouted in Turin on Sunday.
Tuttosport newspaper reported that the Red Devils sent their scouts to watch Koopmeiners, Scalvini and Bremer in Juventus–Atalanta on Sunday.
La Dea held the Bianconeri to a 2-2 draw thanks to a brace from their Dutch midfielder, Football Italia’s Man Of The Match at the Allianz Stadium.
As highlighted by Opta, Koopmeiners has scored seven of his nine Serie A goals in away matches in 2023-24, and only Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham has scored more this season, with nine.
Juventus are also interested in Koopmeiners and Gasperini said at a press conference attended by Football Italia that the Old Lady will be linked with the 26-year-old if he keeps playing like this.
On the other hand, Juventus defender Bremer struggled to cope with Atalanta strikers, while Scalvini was impressive in the build-up for La Dea.
Gazzetta rated Bremer 5.5/10, saying that Scamacca proved to be a tricky opponent. The Brazilian fouled the Italy international, causing a free-kick that led to Atalanta’s opening goal in the first half.
However, Sofascore stats show that Bremer won six ground duels from nine and six aerial duels from seven.
Scalvini didn’t win any ground duel but his passing accuracy at the Allianz Stadium was 84% (37/44)
