Damir Kreilach has found a new home within Major League Soccer. Kreilach has left Real Salt Lake after failing to come to a new contract agreement. The RSL veteran is staying within MLS and is heading north of the border to Vancouver. The 34 year old midfielder has over 160 games played for Real Salt Lake in his career. In those games he has helped RSL turn back into a playoff side. His 56 career goals and 19 career assists for the club cements his status as a RSL legend.

Kreilach joins a very talented and deep Vancouver midfield. Vanni Sartini has now built a strong midfield core consisting of; Pedro Vite, Ali Ahmed, Andres Cubas, Alessandro Schopf, Sebastian Berhalter, JC Ngando, and now Kreilach. The Whitecaps are a club that has real potential to make large strides forward in 2024. A move like this to bring in a veteran leader is only another reason why Vancouver can make a massive jump forward.
