Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze shot to the top of the Premier League in one particular stat following his strike against Tottenham on Saturday.
The attacker returned to the side after missing several games through injury, and wasted no time getting back onto the scoresheet.
Taking charge of a free-kick just before the hour mark, the Englishman stepped up and found the corner to open the scoring and put his side seemingly on course for victory.
In doing so, he continued an impressive record of finding the back of the net from range. In fact, since the beginning of last season no Premier League player has scored more goals from outside the box than Eze's six, an especially impressive return given his problems with injury in the past 12 months.
With such a lethal ability to punish teams from distance, Eze is quickly becoming one of the Premier League's standout stars, and it is clear why Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing him this summer.
Unfortunately for Eze, his side fell apart late on, with goals from Timo Werner and Cristian Romero turning the tide away from Palace and in favour of the home side.
