Chivas Femenil has experienced spectacular moments throughout its history, in which memorable goals abound. And... what would the goals be without the celebrations? That is why we will now recall some of Guadalajara's historic celebrations recreated by our Chingonas.
1. Adriana Iturbide and the Adolfo Bautista-like celebration.
This celebration is the most recent of all, as in the Clasico Tapatio of Day 16 of the Apertura 2023, Adriana Iturbide scored a great goal against Atlas and decided not to celebrate it. This was clearly an allusion to the celebration that 'Bofo' Bautista carried out in a Clásico Tapatío in 2005, when he chose to put his hands on his hips and not celebrate the goal.
2. Alicia Cervantes and Carolina Jaramillo emulating Omar Bravo and Alberto Medina's celebration.
It was Day 8 of the Apertura 2021 when Guadalajara hosted Atlas at the Akron. That night, the Chingonas won 1-0 with a goal by 'Licha', who celebrated with Caro in the style of 'Los Compadres'. That moment caused much happiness among the Red-and-White fans, as Cervantes and Jaramillo have formed a tremendous partnership on the field.
3. Isabella Gutiérrez's circus celebration
One of the moments 'Bofo' is most remembered by the rojiblanca fans was the circus celebration. In the 2006 Apertura, Guadalajara beat América 2-0 with goals from Bautista and Bravo. It was precisely on one of the goals that they decided to celebrate as a circus show due to the negative comments made by a Blue and Whites' manager prior to the Clasico de Mexico.
It was in the Clausura 2021 when Isabella Gutiérrez and Susan Bejarano replicated this celebration after scoring against Monterrey, in that scandalous 5-0 drubbing.
4. Norma Palafox a la Rodolfo Pizarro
Pizarro popularized his dance in Chivas' title tournament in the Clausura 2017, since in addition to performing it throughout the tournament, he immortalized it after scoring against Tigres in the first leg of the Final.
It was Norma Palafox who replicated it, as in the second leg of the 2017 Apertura final, when Guadalajara won its first title against Pachuca, the then Red-and-White striker scored the championship-winning goal at 68' and celebrated with Rodolfo Pizarro's dance.
