Totally Totti – part one

Jimbo, James Horncastle and Gab Marcotti venture back to a time when Roma won the scudetto and embarked on their first ever European Cup campaign. Inspired by Swedish manager Nils Liedholm in the early 80s, the likes of Conti, Ancelotti and the original Falcao led the Giallorossi to the biggest game in club football, in their own stadium, against the mighty Liverpool. It’s a story involving bribery, Dundee United and ultimately a shocking tragedy.

A contemporary(ish) Golazzo, as Jimbo and James Horncastle look back over the Giallorossi’s incredible 3-0 victory over Barcelona in the 2018 Champions League, and the euphoric celebrations which followed, as the team from the capital reached a European semi-final for the first time since 1984.
