Sunday, 7 September (2 p.m.): BVB Women’s Handball Team – Györi Audi ETO KCThe BVB women’s handball team will have to prove themselves against one of the favourites for the title in their very first game of the 2025/26 Champions League season. Reigning Champions League winners Györi Audi ETO KC will be the visitors at the Helmut Körnig Halle. The Hungarian team has already lifted the trophy seven times, including in 2024 and 2025. Tickets for the match on the international stage are available from the online ticket shop.

Saturday, 13 September (15:30 CEST): 1. FC Heidenheim vs. BVBAfter a two-week break, the Bundesliga continues with the third matchday and the Black & Yellows’ second away game against 1. FC Heidenheim. Exactly one year ago to the day, BVB won 4-2 against Frank Schmidt’s team at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. In the current season, Borussia will be aiming to pick up three points again on 13 September – this time at the Voith Arena in Heidenheim.

Tuesday, 16 September (21:00 CEST): Juventus vs. BVBThanks to their strong finish in the Bundesliga last season, Borussia are back in the Champions League. Their first opponent in Europe’s premier competition this season is Italian record champions Juventus Turin. After the Italians were guests in Dortmund at the start of this season (1-2), the Black and Yellows now have to visit Juve – the first of a total of eight opponents in the league phase.

Sunday, 21 September (19:30 CEST): BVB vs. VfL WolfsburgWill the streak against the Wolves continue in the 13th Bundesliga home game? The most recent defeat at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK against VfL Wolfsburg was 13 years ago (2-3). In none of the last twelve home games have the Black & Yellows been defeated by the Lower Saxony side (ten wins, two draws). The Borussia players also have fond memories of their most recent home game against VfL Wolfsburg – the Wolves last visited Dortmund at the beginning of May 2025, when BVB took a big step towards Champions League qualification with a 4-0 victory.

After 1. FSV Mainz 05 fought to stay in the league in the 2023/24 season, they surprised everyone last season by finishing seventh in the table and qualifying for the Conference League play-offs. Borussia Dortmund lost their last two away games in Mainz (3-0, 3-1). The Black & Yellows will have the opportunity to turn their away record at the MEWA Arena back into a positive one on 27 September, when Niko Kovac’s team faces Bo Henriksen’s side.
