Norwich City will be looking to complete a strong end of the season as they chase promotion from the Championship.

The Canaries are currently battling for a place in the Championship play-offs, and if they are able to secure a top six spot, it will of course give them a shot at promotion to the Premier League.

Whether or not they are able to claim a place in the top-flight of English football, could have a telling a impact on what happens at Carrow Road over the course of the summer transfer window.

There is the obvious impact of being able to bring in a higher calibre of player, and perhaps more of them, with the greater scope for investment promotion brings with it.

However, it could also have an influence on potential departures, given other players may or may not have their eyes on a move, depending on what division they are in next season.

So with that in mind, we've taken a look at four current Norwich City players, who could be eyeing a move for the summer window, particularly if they do remain in the Championship, right here.

Josh Sargent

This has been a season of mixed emotions for Josh Sargent, who has missed significant periods of the campaign through injury, but has nevertheless produced some excellent returns in front of goal.

In just 23 Championship this season, the American international has scored 15 league goals, and had he been fit for the whole season, Norwich may well have been even further up the table. Reports last summer claimed that the likes of Leeds United, who are also currently chasing promotion to the Premier League, were interested in the striker.

Given his form this season, it would be no surprise if interest re-emerged in Sargent this summer, and considering his success this season, there may be arguments that even higher profile interest might now appear. Should that be the case, then that chance to make the move up to that next level could well be appealing for the 24-year-old.

Jonathan Rowe

Another Norwich City player who has enjoyed a remarkable campaign during the current season is Jonathan Rowe.

The attacker has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 29 league games for the Canaries, and on the back of that, a number of Premier League clubs have already been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old.

That is unlikely to have gone unnoticed by Rowe himself, and if the Canaries themselves do not win promotion to the top-flight, the chance to get that opportunity with another club could be hard for the attacker to turn down.

Danny Batth

Danny Batth only joined Norwich at the start of this season, signing from Championship rivals Sunderland, but the centre back has had a disappointing campaign at Carrow Road.

The 33-year-old has found his game time limited this season, with just 15 league appearances, only five of which have been as part of the starting lineup, despite many calls for him to get more opportunities in the side.

With those not exactly forthcoming, Batth could potentially have his eye on an exit in the summer, when his contract at Carrow Road is due to expire as things stand.

Daniel Barden

At 23-years-old, Barden is at the stage of his career where he is going to want to start playing regular first-team football in order to another step forward as a footballer.

However, that has not yet happened for the goalkeeper at Norwich City, who has not made a senior appearance for the club during the current campaign.

As a result, he too may feel that he could benefit from a move elsewhere from a personal perspective, and with his contract at Carrow Road due to expire in the summer, that could well be something that he is considering for the coming months.
