Following the withdrawal of Memphis Depay, Teun Koopmeiners and Frenkie de Jong have also left the Netherlands camp with injuries, and Brian Brobbey and Ryan Gravenberch have been called up from the U21s squad for the match against Belgium.

Koopmeiners came off at the start of the 2-0 win over Poland with a head injury while De Jong was substituted at half-time due to muscle pain.

Louis van Gaal initially hoped both would be okay for the match against Belgium, but along with Memphis, they’ve now returned to their clubs for further tests and treatment.

The manager has therefore called up Gravenberch and Brobbey, who are both currently with the U21s squad but will be part of the senior squad for the match with Belgium on Sunday.

Gravenberch has played for Oranje before, but Brobbey hasn’t, and he would become the third debutant of the international break after Ajax team-mates Kenneth Taylor and Remko Pasveer.

It’s believed that Memphis will be out for around a month and Koopmeiners only a few days; the extent of De Jong’s injury is unclear.
