Terzic: "We were too passive in many phases of the game"

The reactions to the match in Wolfsburg from Edin Terzic, Sebastian Kehl, Gregor Kobel and Nico Schlotterbeck.

Edin Terzic (at the press conference): "We're not happy with the performance or the result. I think we got into the game quite well and scored a nice goal. We didn't manage to keep this rhythm up. Wolfsburg created a few really good chances towards the end of the first half. It was an open game in the second half. We still had opportunities right at the end. We had more of the play overall, but Wolfsburg had the better chances to score. We were too passive in many phases of the game."

Sebastian Kehl (in the mixed zone): "You have to criticise the team to some extent for not controlling the game in some phases and for playing arrogantly too. They weren't consistent enough in the challenges and also lost possession too carelessly in some situations. There were some good moves, but we simply didn't finish them off consistently and we should've done better. We didn't perform well. From our side, the game wasn't so good over 90 minutes that we could've won here."

Gregor Kobel (to Sky): "We found it very difficult to get into the game at the outset, Wolfsburg put us under a lot of pressure. But we were then able to take control after our goal. Many things went badly for us when they equalised. I first got a hand to the ball but then it landed precisely in front of our goal. Overall, we created too few chances for ourselves today. It was a long game with many disruptions. Everyone is allowed to stand up for their rights, that's a great thing. Nonetheless, it was extremely difficult for me because the tennis balls were also sometimes in my penalty area. It could've been dangerous if the ball had hit one and then bounced up."

Nico Schlotterbeck (in the mixed zone): "We wanted to win the game but didn't have clear scoring chances. We had a few simple losses of possession. The goal for 1-1 disrupted our rhythm. Gerhardt comes in with momentum. That was a frustrating goal that we didn't have to concede. But it's not all bad, even though we, very clearly, did not play our best game today. We've conceded two goals in six matches and picked up 14 points. We're really solid defensively, that's important for me as a defender. We need to do several things better in Eindhoven and then against Hoffenheim."
