Teddy Sheringham may be a legend on the pitch, but off it he’s not quite reached the same heights.
The former Manchester United and Tottenham man is one of only 25 players to score over 100 goals in the Premier League.
And he probably wishes he could have put his boots back on for ATK, after the Indian Premier League side sacked him as their manager this week after just 10 games in charge.
Sheringham led the Kolkata club to just three wins during his tenure, leaving the side eighth in a 10-team league.
“ATK team management would like to thank Teddy Sheringham for his services towards ISL Season 4.
“We wish him all the very best for his future endeavours. Ashley Westwood will be the interim head coach.”
