The London City Lionesses have signed another two players this summer, with preparations continuing to ramp up ahead of their first season in the WSL.
After winning WSL2 last season the London City Lionesses have been promoted to the top division for the first time in their history.
With a much more competitive league season coming up next year the club has been extremely busy in the summer transfer window already.
The London City Lionesses have already signed five players this summer.
Teyah Goldie and Poppy Pattinson are the latest additions to the London City Lionesses squad, with both players announced by the club in the past 24 hours.
While Goldie joins from Arsenal, she will already be familiar with the Lionesses having spent the 2024/25 season on loan with the team.
The 21-year-old became an important part of the club last year playing 24 games during their most successful campaign in history.
Speaking after her permanent move was confirmed, Goldie said: “I’m delighted to be back to be honest, it feels like a long time coming, but I’m so excited to be here. Winning the league was unbelievable.
“I want to play as much as possible and get as much experience as I can in the WSL. I want to prove that I can compete at that level. Very quickly it felt like home, last season was amazing for so many reasons, and I didn’t want to leave!”
Poppy Pattinson on the other hand is a new face in London after joining from Brighton.
The 25-year-old made over 50 appearances for the Seagulls in her three years at the club and having also played for Everton and Bristol City she brings some crucial experience to the side in their first WSL season.
The Lionesses have also released six players ahead of the 2025/26 season.
