Robert Vilahamn provided a boost ahead of Friday night’s trip to Manchester City (7.30pm UK, live on Sky Sports) as he confirmed that Hayley Raso and Amy James-Turner are back available for selection.
Hayley has missed our last three games in the Barclays Women’s Super League, missing trips to Manchester United and Chelsea and a home fixture to West Ham United. The Australia international, who scored in the season opener against Crystal Palace, returned to training last week after staying at Hotspur Way over the international break.
Amy has yet to feature in our matchday squad so far this season having picked up an injury in pre-season, but the defender could be involved for our trip to the Etihad Stadium for the first time.
Goalkeeper Katelin Talbert will also be available for selection once again after she missed last weekend’s fixture with West Ham due to the terms of her loan from the parent club.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon, Robert told the media: “So the good news is that Hayley and Amy are 100% back and ready to be picked for the squad, that’s a big step for us.”
Maite Oroz and Kit Graham remain sidelined for this fixture.
