France have named their squad for November's Nations League encounters with Italy and Israel.
Adrien Rabiot returns to the national fold while there is also a maiden call-up for Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.
But there is no place for captain Kylian Mbappé, who was a notable absentee from Didier Deschamps' 23-man squad.
Deschamps revealed on Thursday that the Real Madrid forward was omitted following talks between the pair.
“I had several discussions with him," said Les Bleus' head coach.
"I thought about it and I made this decision for this group of games. I think it’s better this way. I’m not going to argue.
“I can tell you two things: Kylian wanted to come, and it’s not the non-sporting problems that come into play as long as the presumption of innocence exists.
"It’s a one-off choice for this gathering, with two games ahead of us.”
France sit behind Italy in League A Group 2 of the Nations League after slipping to a 3-1 home defeat in September.
