Gareth Taylor has now reached a century of wins as Manchester City boss following our 5-0 triumph over West Ham United.

Taylor earned his 100th win at the helm in just his 137th match, having taken over ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

Leila Ouahabi’s opener inside 24 seconds – her first for the Club – set City on our way to a dominant victory at the Joie Stadium.

Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw added a first half brace, with Laura Blindkilde Brown’s maiden City strike and a clinical Jess Park finish moving us back on top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table.

The victory over the Hammers also saw City break the WSL record for the longest winning sequence across a single season (13), surpassing our own tally set between November 2020 and April 2021.

On average, the boss has won roughly 73% of his games in charge, with 63 in the WSL, 14 in the FA Cup, 17 in the Continental Cup and six in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

During that time, City have found the net 381 times, while conceding just 117 at the other end.

Our largest winning margin during that time has been eight goals, with Taylor’s side beating Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest 8-0 in the FA Cup in 2020/21 and 2021/22.

We have also won by a seven-goal margin on four occasions and hit more than four in a game an astonishing 43 times, just shy of a third of our overall matches.

Congratulations to Gareth on earning his 100th victory at Manchester City manager!
