Tapatío continues in a big way and defeats Atlante | OneFootball

After winning the Clausura 2023 title, Tapatío continues in a great moment and reflected this by defeating Atlante 3-1 in the first leg of the Campeón de Campeones. Thanks to their great performance, the Rebaño's affiliate has a good advantage going into the second leg, which will be played next Saturday, June 3, in Mexico City.

The game was largely dominated by Tapatío, who, based on fluid possession and dribbling in the final third of the field, managed to generate several dangerous chances in the Potros' goal.

The participation of José 'Tepa' González, who scored a hat-trick, was noteworthy.

The goals:

- Tapatío opened the scoring at 9' through 'Tepa', who took the ball to the near post and capitalized on a low cross in front of the goalkeeper.

- The Rebaño's affiliate scored the second at 28', once again through González, who sent the ball into the back of the net after a great play by Dylan Guajardo.
