El Tapatío fulfilled its date with history in a dramatic way, in which the red and white blood and winning spirit was evident, with 9 men it gallantly defended the advantage they had obtained in Guadalajara to win the title of Champion of Champions by beating Atlante with a 3-2 aggregate score in the second leg played at the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium in the Red and White Capital.
