England international and former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is on the verge of completing a £17 million permanent move to Besiktas from Roma.
The 27-year-old is en route to Istanbul to finalise the move, with the Turkish side sharing a video on social media showing the striker aboard a flight heading to Turkey.
He’s expected to sign a four-year deal and he will be coached by former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær
Abraham originally joined Roma from Chelsea in 2021 for £34 million and made an immediate impact, helping the Italian side lift the Europa Conference League in 2022 under José Mourinho.
Last season, he spent the 2024–25 campaign on loan at AC Milan, where he netted 10 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
His arrival will mark Besiktas’ second signing ahead of the new season, following the capture of Czech left-back David Jurásek from Benfica.
