Uni贸n Santa Fe 2-2 Patronato

Uni贸n Santa Fe couldn鈥檛 take advantage of a highly-favourable matchup against lowly聽Patronato, as they surrendered the lead twice at home to finish 2-2.

Third-placed聽Uni贸n have taken just one point from their last two matches following a three-match winning run.

Diego Zabala would open the scoring for the hosts in the 40th minute, as聽Patronato鈥檚 41-year-old goalkeeper聽Sebasti谩n B茅rtoli failed to deal with a fairly routine effort.

However, the visitors would find an equaliser just before half-time to change the manager鈥檚 team talk. Facundo聽Barcel贸 scored on a thunderous header from close range after a fine cross from Gabriel Carabajal.

In the second half, a 70th-minute goal from Yeimar G贸mez gave聽Uni贸n a 2-1 lead,聽but again the hosts would quickly surrender as the hosts found the equaliser聽through聽Mat铆as Garrido less than 10 minutes later.

Uni贸n remain in third place on 19 points, while Patronato moved up from 25th to 24th and are currently on eight points.

Belgrano 2-0 Gimnasia

Belgrano defeated Gimnasia 2-0 on Friday night to end a seven-match winless run that dates back to the end of August.

Maximiliano Lugo started the scoring for the hosts, as he took advantage of some poor defending and struck his 27th-minute effort into the top corner.

Just before the final whistle, 26-year-old Jon谩s Aguirre scored just his fourth professional goal, his second in his last three matches, to kill the game off and bring Belgrano up to 11 points.

Gimnasia remain in 11th place on 14 points.
