Ede has represented Sunderland in the Barclays Women’s Championship since their return to the elite game in 2021/2022. She has made 22 league appearances for The Lady Black Cats so far and she has featured in all five of Sunderland’s matches this season.

The midfielder has a big future ahead of her and she will continue her development at Sunderland in the coming years.

After signing her new contract, Ede said “I’m really excited. I’ve been at Sunderland since I was little and it’s a dream come true to have signed my new contract. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and make more memories with this Club.”

Ede and Sunderland are next in Barclays Women’s Championship action on Sunday when they travel to St Andrew’s to face Birmingham City. The Wearside club have made an impressive start to the season, taking 11 points from an available 15.
