Sunderland have completed the signing of ex-West Ham left-back Arthur Masuaku.
Masuaku returns to the Premier League with Régis Le Bris's side as a free agent after his contract with Beşiktaş expired at the end of the previous campaign.
He previously spent six years in the English top flight, making 128 appearances with the Hammers before leaving for the Süper Lig outfit on an initial loan deal in 2022.
“I’m excited to be here and I’m also really happy to be back in the Premier League," said Masuaku.
"It’s clear that Sunderland is a top club and I’m grateful for the opportunity.
"I had three good years in Turkey, and now I have this exciting new challenge in front of me.
"I want to bring a winning mentality and joy to the fans, and I’m excited to get started.”
The Black Cats kick off their long-awaited return to the Premier League at home against Masuaku's former employers West Ham on 16 August.
