A few days ago, there was some buzz around a post by Real Madrid forward Rodrygo on his official WhatsApp channel, which came just after Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Mallorca.

Initially, some people believed the post was fake. However, Rodrygo’s team quickly confirmed that the post was real but decided to remove it because it was “misinterpreted” by many.

Rodrygo’s message was directed at certain Spanish media outlets that had coined the term ‘The BMV’ to describe Real Madrid’s new offensive line-up, focusing on Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Jr., but leaving out Rodrygo.

Why was the post deleted?

In the post, which was deleted shortly after being published, Rodrygo expressed that the team is more than just these three star players.

He wanted to highlight the importance of every team member, including himself, rather than just focusing on the trio.

Explaining the incident, El Desmarque has mentioned that  Rodrygo’s communications are managed by two separate groups—one in Spain and another in Brazil.

The controversial message was reportedly written by someone from his Brazilian team and was not directly written by the player himself. However, it clearly conveyed his feelings.

His team later realised that sending the message was a mistake as it was taken more seriously than intended, which led to them deleting it.

Will Rodrygo leave Real Madrid?

Despite this incident, Rodrygo has never thought about leaving Real Madrid. He knows he has the full backing of manager Carlo Ancelotti, which gives him confidence in his place at the club.

Although Manchester City have shown interest in him, even offering a chance to play on the left side and putting more money on the table, Rodrygo remains dedicated to his future with Real Madrid.

He is fully committed to the club and is not swayed by offers from other teams. His focus is clear: he wants to prove his worth at Real Madrid and continue to grow with the team, making sure everyone knows he’s an essential part of the squad, just like his more celebrated teammates.
