Colombus Crew ‘complete move’ for Cucho Hernández

Columbus Crew appear to be adding a new striker to their roster in Watford’s Cucho Hernández in a deal around $10 million according to a report from MLSsoccer.com,

The Colombian international’s contract is expected to last until 2025 with the 23-year-old deemed a Young Designated Player.

Hernández, who previously played in LaLiga for Huesca, Getafe and Mallorca, recorded five goals and three assists in 28 appearances for Watford.


Raúl Gudiño completes Atlanta United move

Following numerous reports, former Chivas goalkeeper Raúl Gudiño officially completed a transfer to Atlanta United on Monday.

The 26-year-old arrived as a free transfer and will be with the MLS club until the end of 2022.

While with Chivas, Gudiño made 85 appearances across all competitions where he registered 21 clean sheets.


Fábio heading back to MLS?

More transfer news from journalist Tom Bogert claims former New York Red Bulls centre-forward Fábio may be returning to the United States.

According to the report, the 25-year-old has the “okay” to depart his current club Atlético Mineiro and MLS sides are considering signing him.

Throughout his career, which also included a stint with Flamengo, Fábio registered a combined 35 goals and 13 assists in 108 appearances.


ESPN eye more World Cup coverage

After losing the most recent broadcast rights for the World Cup, ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro confirmed the network will be keen to claim them back “without any reservations” in an interview with The Athletic.

According to reports in England and Germany, Leed United may be signing another American midfielder after Brenden Aaronson.

USMNT star Tyler Adams has reportedly been handed the green light by RB Leipzig to join the Premier League club.

A reunion with former manager Jesse Marsch would be welcomed by Leeds fans as Adams was a reliable figure in the midfield making 102 appearances for the Bundesliga club.
