Divock Origi may have a route out of AC Milan after all as a team from Turkey have expressed an interest in signing him, according to a report.
Origi will leave Milan before the end of the summer having returned from a rather unsuccessful season on loan at Nottingham Forest, where he scored only one goal and none in the Premier League.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic explained in Paulo Fonseca’s presentation press conference that the Belgian is not a part of the plans and would be training with Milan Futuro, but he hasn’t even been doing that.
As per the Turkish source Sports Digitale, Trabzonspor are in talks with Origi over a potential move and negotiations are underway, something that the club president has apparently confirmed in a live broadcast.
They are getting ready for the Europa League preliminaries starting from the second round against the Slovakian side Ruzomberok and are looking to add to their attacking options, it seems.
Origi arrived at Milan in the 2022 summer window and was expected to be someone who allowed Olivier Giroud to manage his minutes but he struggled to contribute and to stay fit, leading to his current status as an outcast looking for a new club.
