Spain's squad for the September break: 1 PSG player included

This Friday, Luis de la Fuente, Spain's coach, announced his list of players called up for the September break with matches against Bulgaria (September 4) and Turkey (September 7) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Of the 3 Spaniards from PSG, only Fabian Ruiz (29-year-old midfielder) is called up with the Roja.

It is not surprising to see Ruiz on the list, he is a pillar of the national team and of PSG. As for Carlos Soler and Marco Asensio, the other Spaniards in the Parisian squad, they have not played since the resumption and are mainly waiting for their departure. Anyway, they have not been in the national team recently due to immense competition.
