Southampton's terrible finisher Kamaldeen Sulemana needs to imitate his role-model Jay-Jay Okocha whenever he gets a brilliant chance to score goals.

Recently, Simon Rusk raised fatigue concerns about Paul Onuachu which is, honestly, the last thing Southampton would have wanted after a one-sided defeat.

Now, it goes without saying that the Saints missed him because they have looked feeble upfront everytime they take the pitch without the towering forward. On Saturday, they rarely asked questions from Aston Villa's defence but even when they did, their finishing feels a frustrating sight to behold.

Still, Kamaldeen Sulemana stands out in this terrible mention due to the stark difference between his playmaking and final-third actions. The 23-year-old wide attacker displays an impressive level of pace and flair but his eventual attempt on target ruins all the good work he did earlier.

Sulemana can become top-notch striker by imitating Okocha

In this regard, he needs to learn the knack of finding the back of the net from the game's greats in the left-wing role.

Well, it may come as a surprise that his role-model is indeed one of Premier League's most effective frontman. In his own words, Showmax quoted Sulemana saying: "In the Premier League, position wise I would have to say Jay-Jay Okocha."

Don't get me wrong but Sulemana's playing style of staying closer to the flanks does resemble with Okocha. Knowing this, the Olympic gold winner would feel let down if he tuned in to watch Sulemana's efforts on goal.
