Southampton winger Samuel Edozie set to join Strasbourg in permanent deal | OneFootball

According to a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Racing Club de Strasbourg are set to sign Southampton winger Samuel Edozie (22) permanently. The England U21 international had attracted strong interest from Belgian side Club Brugge earlier in the summer, but a move to the Jupiler Pro League now appears to be off the table. Strasbourg, backed by BlueCo – the same ownership group as Chelsea – have moved swiftly to secure the winger’s signature.Talks between Strasbourg and Southampton are said to be at an advanced stage, with the deal expected to be finalised in the coming days. Edozie joined the Saints from Manchester City in 2022, and spent last season on loan at Belgian side Anderlecht where the Englishman made 23 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring three goals in the process.
