Southampton Star’s Agent Still Waiting For Contact From Loan Club | OneFootball

The agent of Southampton loanee Carlos Alcaraz has not been contacted by Juventus yet over his client’s future at the end of the season.

The midfielder joined Juventus from Southampton in the winter transfer on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Juventus have a €49.5m option to buy the midfielder as well and the figure could vary based on the number of appearances and minutes played.

It has been suggested the Italian giants have no interest in paying that fee but his agent is yet to have clarification.

According to Italian outlet TuttoJuve, Alcaraz’s agent recently watched Juventus take on Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in person.

However, there is still no contact between the agent and Juventus on whether the club want to keep the midfielder.

It has been claimed that Juventus will make a decision on Alcaraz’s future at the club between the middle and end of May.

Juventus are likely to want to negotiate another loan with Southampton rather than spend big to sign him on a permanent deal.
