Southampton attacker and Tottenham Hotspur target Tyler Dibling is set to undergo a medical at Everton today, according to The Athletic.

Tottenham recently made an approach for the Saints star, but the Hill Dickinson Stadium club have won the race to sign him.

Everton have been trying to sign Dibling all summer, and they have finally reached a £40 million agreement with the Championship club.

The Toffees will pay an initial £35m for the 19-year-old, with an additional £5m to come in potential bonuses.

Everton have already reached personal terms in principle with the Tottenham target.

The Merseyside club started the 2025-26 Premier League campaign with an unlucky 1-0 loss to Leeds United before bouncing back with a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at home yesterday.

They are back in action on Wednesday when they host League One club Mansfield in the second round of the League Cup.

A trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in their third Premier League game of the season follows on Saturday, and Dibling could make his Everton debut.

The teenage sensation is expected to be officially announced as an Everton player this week, and he will be desperate to make an immediate impact.

His last Premier League appearance came against the Toffees in May, and he has only played eight minutes of football this term.

The Merseyside club have bolstered their attack with the loan signing of Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish after completing permanent deals for Charly Alcaraz and Thierno Barry.

Dibling is next, but manager David Moyes could look to make further additions to his attack as Everton plan to secure a spot in Europe this term.

The Friedkin Group (TFG) are ready to back the Toffees boss after the departure of 12 players at the end of last season, and the final week of the summer transfer window could be an interesting one at the club.
