As far as transfer goes, this is probably one of the more bizarre ones that I’ve personally covered in many years doing this!
Chelsea are of course fully involved as they so often are. There’s been many Chelsea transfer dramas over the past years, and I expect many more ahead too.
But Chelsea signing Julio Enciso from Brighton came absolutely nowhere and is completely bizarre. Fabrizio Romano gave the ‘here we go’ for Enciso to join BlueCo out of nowhere earlier this week.
He then basically went on to say that the owners of Chelsea and Strasbourg, BlueCo,saw an opportunity in the market to sign a good player for a decent fee, so they went ahead and signed him.
But not one single report explained which club is actually signing the attacker from Brighton and which club he is going to be registered at. Will he be a Chelsea player on loan at Strasbourg? Or will he be a Strasbourg player with an agreement to join Chelsea next summer? The latter is much more likely at the moment.

So who is Enciso signing for?
When asked on Thursday, one Brighton source said that even they were not entirely sure – per The Daily Mail.
The report goes on to say that conversations are continuing with BlueCo but it is expected that he would sign for Strasbourg with a possible view to the mothership that is Chelsea eventually beaming him up for themselves.
What a strange transfer this one is. I doubt he will ever end up at Chelsea to be honest and I suspect he will just be sold for profit next summer. It’s the way they operate and it’s not necessarily good or bad I suppose.
