Liverpool are one of the clubs that Sancho has been linked with, and Sky Sports journalist Solhekol believes that the Englishman will end up at Anfield come the summer.

“It is difficult to say where Jadon Sancho will be playing next season because so many clubs want him but if I was a betting man, my money would be on Liverpool,” Solhekol wrote.

“Sancho is one of Jurgen Klopp’s top summer targets and he would find it hard to turn down a move to Anfield if Liverpool end up winning the Champions League as well as the Premier League this season.

“Manchester United are confident they can get Sancho in the summer, but they need to qualify for the Champions League first and they don’t have the Klopp factor.

“If he was to move to Liverpool, Sancho would be joining a club who are likely to dominate English football for the foreseeable future.”

Liverpool’s starting XI is very difficult to improve at this current moment. With that being the case, it will be difficult for the Englishman to gain regular minutes on the pitch. That itself could prove to be a hurdle in regards to signing Sancho.

However, Sancho, 19, does have time on his side. If Liverpool were to try and sign the youngster this window, he should seriously consider the move.

There will come a time where he will get regular minutes on the pitch, but as of right now, he would be a squad player at best. As for the transfer fee, it would be worth it, as Sancho is young.
