Borussia Dortmund are in action in Leipzig on Saturday (kick-off 15:30 CEST). Around 4,700 fans from Dortmund will be making the trip to support the team. We have summarised the most important information for all BVB fans travelling with us.

Arriving by train

  • Tickets include the right to use MDV public transport throughout the city (zone 110) for four hours before and four hours after the match. Tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 15 (stop "Sportforum Süd" or "Sportforum Ost") run to the stadium.
  • Further information is available here.
  • There will also be shuttle buses for BVB fans both before and after the match. The shuttle buses will depart from the main railway station to the stadium before the match from 12:15 CEST. After the match, the shuttle buses will travel back to the station via the north side of the stadium.

Arriving by car/minibus

  • Visiting fans are advised to take the A9 to the Leipzig-West exit, direction B181 via Merseburger Straße, Rückmarsdorfer Straße and Hans-Driesch-Straße to reach the stadium.
  • On match day, there will be a temporary exclusion zone around an adjacent residential area. Due to the increased traffic volume, there may be considerable travel obstructions around the stadium. For this reason, it is recommended to use the multi-storey car parks, Park + Ride car parks and public transport.

Arriving by bus

  1. Away fans arriving by bus can get off and on again in the Landauer Brücke/Am Sportforum area. Stewards will be on hand to guide fans to the away section. During the match, fan buses can park in Cottaweg Straße.

Admission

  • The stadium will open 120 minutes before kick-off , at 13:30 CEST.
  • BVB colours cannot be worn in blocks B and D of the home section.

Permitted fan paraphernalia

  • 25 small flags with a maximum pole length of two metres
  • Perimeter banners, provided space is available 
  • Five large flags
  • Only transparent/see-through adhesive tape allowed

Permitted personal items

  1. Bags no larger than DIN-A4 size

Forbidden items

  • Large bags and backpacks (larger than DIN-A4) are not permitted. In addition, there will be no on-site deposit point for away fans.
  • Powerbanks
  • Double holders
  • Coloured tape

Visibly drunk people will not be admitted to the stadium. Random checks will also be carried out using a breathalyser.

Other information

  • Payment is only possible via cashless means (EC and credit card, mobile payment with smartphone) in the away section.
