Sky: Ibrahimovic follows training at Milanello – discussions with Pioli and Moncada | OneFootball

Both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada were seen at Milanello watching the final training session before AC Milan head down to Rome for the Europa League quarter-final second leg.

The Rossoneri are facing AS Roma in the Europa League and have a 1-0 deficit to overturn after. disappointing performance in the first leg of the tie at San Siro where Gianluca Mancini scored the only goal.

As reported by Sky, Milan were training at Milanello this morning and there were conversations between the under-pressure Stefano Pioli, and Ibrahimovic and Moncada.

With this game being followed by a Derby della Madonnina in which Inter can win the Serie A title with a victory, Pioli is facing a massive five days that could decide whether he is coach next season or not.

As for what training showed, Simon Kjaer was not with the team and looks unlikely to play any part against Roma, and the same can be said for Pierre Kalulu.

The positive news was that Tommaso Pobega was on the grass, so he could potentially make the bench.

At the moment, Matteo Gabbia is expected to start over Malick Thiaw, and Fikayo Tomori is back from suspension so he should start in Rome.
