Sivert Mannsverk set to move from Ajax to Sparta Prague

As per Voetbal International’s Tim van Duijn, Sivert Mannsverk is leaving Ajax for Sparta Prague on loan with an option to buy.

Mannsverk reportedly played his final match for the Amsterdam club already – for Jong Ajax on Tuesday morning. The transfer is still pending some formalities and is expected to be confirmed later this week.

In total, Mannsverk has made 18 appearances for Ajax first team so far. His contract runs for three more years, until 2028. In the Czech Republic, he will join a manager with a history in the Eredivisie: Brian Priske. Sparta Prague are currently top of the Czech First League (or Chance Liga) after five matches and hope to reach the league stage of the Conference League this month.
