Ajax youngster leaves to gain vital loan experience

Ajax have confirmed that young defender Dies Janse will join FC Groningen on loan.

The 19-year-old will spend the remainder of the season with the Eerste Divisie side, with the loan agreement lasting until the summer of 2026.

Janse, who is now under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2029, is considered one of the club’s promising defensive prospects.

The move will provide him with more regular first team experience.

Ajax announced the agreement via social media on Tuesday morning, wishing the player success during his loan spell.
