Bristol Rovers will be aiming to get back to winning ways this weekend when they host promotion chasing Peterborough United.

The Pirates are currently 17th in the League One table, having failed to win any of their last four league games, drawing three and losing one.

A 2-2 draw last time out at home to Fleetwood Town saw the team concede a 99th minute equaliser, much to the frustration of Joey Barton.

Meanwhile, the Posh had their three game winning run come to an end in their most recent fixture, falling to a 3-2 defeat to Exeter City.

Grant McCann’s side will be looking to bounce back with a win on Saturday to keep pace with Plymouth Argyle, Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday at the top of the table.

Here is how we predict Barton will line up his side to face Peterborough this weekend…

Scott Sinclair earned his first start for the club in the draw with Fleetwood, where he lasted 86 minutes before being substituted.

Another start should be on the cards, providing there are no fitness concerns surrounding the winger.

Aaron Collins and Josh Coburn scored in the 2-2 draw last weekend, so should retain their places alongside Sinclair in attack.

The midfield trio of Scott Finley, Jordan Rossiter and Antony Evans have been mainstays in the team this season, and no injury concerns means they should remain in the starting lineup.

While Barton has tinkered with a potential change to a back three system, he is likely to continue with a back four this weekend.

There are no changes expected in defence, with no fresh injury issues to report so we could see the same team on Saturday as against Fleetwood.
